 Well PAX, I always enjoy your political view point; it provides a bit of humor to my day...not to mention a total relief from reality!!!:D  Okay, let me hear your slant on the new changing of the terminology from Global warming to Global Climate Change because the real science doesn't support the warming issue...also interested in how psuedo-science changed it forecast from a new ice age to global warming in a mere 30 years.

Yes, I know algore won the Nobel Peace prize, but I consider him as much of a scientist as I consider Yasser Arafat a pundit for peace on his Nobel Award.  It is a great emotional issue (which is why politicians use it), but the long term fact don't support it...and no, I don't think the earth is flat!  BTW, Gores carbon footprint is bigger than he is!subtlelaugh.gif  There may or may not be any truth to the fact that Global warming is occurring at this point, but there is no credible evidence that if it is occurring, that it is man-made...now if you want to discuss the harm done to by man in the way of environmental pollution of rivers, etc., we can agree, but global warming is a hoax, and most credible scientists agree.  Global warming has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with politics.

As to energy and power consumption, if the politicians were serious about it, we would be drilling in Anwar (screw the Caribou...they will not be harmed or deprived, and even if they were, they are not more important than man), we would be allowed to drill in the Gulf of Mexico, where, the Mexicans just happen to be drilling.  we would be drilling off the straits of Florida as the Cubans plan to do...we would drill off the coast off California (screw the view of the phony Hollywood elite)...and more importantly, we would abandon fossil fuel consumption for power plant and convert to Nuclear Energy as most of Europe has...but no, you liberal environmentalist wont lets us do any of that.
