Tony, its a computer that rankles you. My Dentist's "computer" will charge interest on a small (albiet missed) balance also. Miss a credit card payment today even for a small amount and you may be in for increased interest. It is not just shopnbc...
Yes..ridiculous for sure. The CC companies lay blame on the losses they have to take for there exorbinent rates. I dont feel sorry for them because if they would just charge a fair rate of return maybe they would get steady payment.
Again it's the sneakiness of the whole thing that rankles me.
