Alpina has announced its latest version of the Alpina Manufacture Regulator. They have developed their own manufacture automatic caliber for the watch. Size is 46mm so Hucky might even consider this a winner. When I first saw this I was a little bummed I had the older model but looking at the functions available off the manufacture caliber I was surprised to see a date function had supplanted the seconds hand. Just doesn't work for me. I would much rather prefer a running seconds hand than the date. I took a peak at the Alpina site but couldn't find any more info. So what do you say? Winner or Loser? There's a poll for your opinion. ![]() Full story at TZ: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=3675306&rid=0
