Thanks. It can be difficult at times, but I try to remember that those who came before me had it worse. Back in the 90s, when I was an Active Duty Soldier, I could make a collect call home pretty regular or write a letter, but now I just get on my computer and send an email or IM or even use my computer as a phone using a service like SKYPE or YahooMessenger. I don't have to make collect calls anymore. But when guys like Ken and Tusk were serving, it was the mail or M.A.R.S. station and that was it. When my Grandfathers served(WWII), it was the mail and that's it, and it wasn't even that consistent. So I think I have it pretty good when it comes to communication with the family, which makes a big difference with missing them.
