Diving with a "watch" that is considered a dive computer is one thing, but I can't justify ever diving with a watch that costs more than a hundred bucks,
it just isn't worth it. As much as I want a Panerai or Blancpain, I wouldn't wear it while diving. I would just wear something cheap, so if it got scratched or just fell off, I wouldn't care.

Awful lot of "rich man's divers" there...of course it is Forbes, the "rich man's magazine".
Would love an IWC, SeaDweller, FF, and Aquaracer but reality intervenes.  Thank heaven for Seiko SKX, Citizen Promaster and other high quality, reasonably priced dive watches, as those are the only ones I will ever own.  Unless of course I win the lottery!

Cheers,
Griff

What the "H" no Seiko SKX007 7s26-0020

Now thats just wrong... must be one of the most bought Dive watches in the world

Looks great / 200m / under $200us / lasts for ever...

And with the old 6105's now over 30yrs old and many still running...

Professional divers still consider and wear the Rolex Seadweller as the best dive watch made.....I guess when you dive for a living you want the best on your wrist besides a dive computer hand6.gif.....you wouldn't see Mario Andretti racing a Yugo because he didn't want to scratch his Formula 1 subtlelaugh.gif

Good point... I'm a PADI dive instructor and I've never seen anyone wearing a Rolex.. Haven't seen any Seiko's too

But I have read that many of the Professhonal Deep divers do wear Rolex's on the job....
