Why is it that i can get a Priority Mail package fast from California and Florida then the Midwestface4.gif?????????? The only thing I can think of is both of those cities might have Northwest as a hub like Detroit so it expedites things..I dont know. Anyone else see the same for there state???????? |

Priority mail gets to me in 3 to 4 days depending on time of day shipped basically CONUS. But I can not get over night express unless it's like within 500 miles of me it seems. I've had folks ship from New York, Texas and California and they can only get 2ed day express to me. Must be the small town thing. |

Impatient are we? The inner workings of the Postal System is best left to the employees, and we know how stable they are. There has to be something that drives them to walk the knifes edge of sanity, and I believe you have found it. |

The postal boys did such a great job loosing entire shipments of Marc's watches, one of my watches being one of them. I pay double now to ship everything my companies send and I have lost no packages since. I know to many postal inspectors, apparently and hear more than most. |

Yea I know the game to well. 3 generations of my family worked for the PO. Only have more family in the Military and Public Safety. Everything is chance. One very massive organization. Something is always bound to fall through the cracks. That is one of many reasons I get impatient. I want to know my package is safe. LOL :D |

Having a business I deal with this all the time. i get my trans parts from Pittsburgh through ups. Sometimes that is a real nightmare. When I was buying alot of radios on ebay my ups guy would just drop them on the floor. I would tell him hey, its a 50+ year old tube radio. Be careful. You know what he said to me? "if its not packed to withstand a drop from 6 feet its not my problem." :X After that I would meet him at the truck and have it hand it to me. That way it was dropped one less time. That is whay I also pick my watches up at the PO. I dont want them put in my mail box so any one driving down the road cant take them. Anyhow, I thought priority mail was gauranteed 2 -3 days? I would want a refund on shipping if it didnt make it in time. |

It can take up to 2 weeks, but generally 2 to 3 days is on the money. Even their express mail is not always "next day". If you are rural, it is 2 days; thus the asteriks next to "overnight" ! That being said, I use USPS almost exclusively, and for all its faults, it performs awesome given the price! From the NY to CA in 3 days? UPS takes 4 (or 5) and costs at least twice the amount. The biggest problem I've had is with unscrupulous people stealing my boxes from the customers stoop or mailbox. Also, I don't know if anyone uses "click-n-ship", but there is a phone number that is tough to find, but once you have it, you call, and you are connected to a technical rep (read: knows what they are doing) in a matter of seconds. Another odd shipping deal to me anyway?? We all know that Watchprince has excellent CS, but why would the send my $25 strap UPS ground which takes 5-10 days?? Security probably, but a padded envelope and first class mail would have gotten it here in 3-4 I am sure |
