I see alot of forums a few times a day and I see alot of WTT Want To Trade Its usually someobodys basic watch like a seiko monster or something along those lines and they are looking to trade for a Sinn or a G lycine or a Fortis, Anybody else notice that some folks think theyre watches are worth so much more than they really are????????? And it never says cash on my end Or how about the the seller that responds in code when you inquire about actually purchasing a watch? whats up with that. Or how about the seller that wants to ping pong emails for a few days as if hes lonely. Sorry bout the few Rants, but they have been weighing on me |

Let me continue the rant. I get tired of listings that say MINT condition - except it needs repair. Or, they say MINT and then confess it has some scratches, etc. MINT means MINT for crying out! Not, Mint with exceptions. Then it is Near Mint or less. Also sellers - clean the damn watch before you send it! Not the movement, but the bracelet, etc. I got a watch the other day off a seller that looked like it was worn by a guy who changed oil on cars all day. A little mild soap and warm water would have taken care of most of the gunk. JEEZE! And, don't use duck-tape to wrap the package either. Buy some packing tape. coyote2.gif |

Yes, that sea angler that I was after the other day, it said good condition but no % of condition, then I find out that good means 80%, then a Better pic said that it was probably about 60%, I have work watches in better condition than that Anger was in. Glad I didnt pull that Trigger! |

I got yer' Persio right here. I'm looking for a 300T Seahunter in trade. face4.gif Hucky, when you're fishing as much as you are they ain't all gonna be keepers.  I couldn't agree more with what's being stated in this thread but we must remember we are all fairly seasoned. Sometimes it's inexperience. But it some cases it's just foolish. I like 'em easy.
