When it comes to chronograph movements there are variety to choose from Lemania, Landeron 248, Venus 175,Poljot 3133, Valjoux 7736 to the ETA 7750. I came across an Anonimo Chronowatch up for grabs for $1900. I didn't jump at the chance because I've read some bad reviews about piggy back movements. This watch in particular has the ETA 2892 with the Dubois Depraz Chronograph Module. What sort of problems should I be looking for? and how reliable is it? Thank you in advance. |

I have the Zodiac Calame with the 2824 DD Chrono Mod and it's great. I've heard only good things about the 2892 DD Mod also. |

I also have the zodiac and can add the fact that all the hands sweep unlike the 7750. I do prefer the 7750 because of the wobble. |

I have 2 watches with the ETA/DD, a Steinhart Mach1 and a VIXA Type 20...both are great watches and I have had no problems with either. In many ways, I prefer them because I don't have to mess with setting the date. |

Great setup and works perfectly the only down side is when it comes to servicing them. It requires special tools, additional labor, and skill. I personal like them and would never not purchase a watch because of it. Some of your lesser skilled shops will just service the movement and purchase a new module, but that is where knowing your watchmaker becomes important. |

Thanks to everyone for their experience in the Dubois-Depraz Chronograph Module. I felt a little insecure about purchasing a chronograph watch with a piggy back movement and ventured instead towards a brand new Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Chronograph with the Valjoux 7750 movement and two year warranty. |

I've got a Tag Heuer chrono from the early 80's that I was told uses a DD chrono module on an ETA quartz driver. I wouldn't know a DD if it bit me, but I can see the ETA well enough. I have a watch i'm repairing it's a concord with an ETA 2892-2 piggy backed with a module. The module was accidentally pryed open and some of the parts fell apart. I need to fix module or replace the module. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think i can repair, but it might be easier to replace? |

I think i can repair, but it might be easier to replace? a master-watchmaker is what you would need as even some of your local watchmakers would have difficulty in repairing a DD chrono let alone a novice...this is 1 of the hardest to repair auto movements from what I have been told and read about... |

I never have to re set the time on it. I would not think twice about getting any watch with any Dubios Depraz heart. |
