Which finish do people prefer? Brushed, bead blasted, or polished. I know that it varies with the style of the watch, but I am curious if there is an over riding preference. Thanks |

I like all of them! My Glycine Lagunare looks really sharp with its polished finish, but I also like the brushed finish on my Steinhart Triton and Hamilton QNE Aviation. The only reason I prefer brushed finish is that small scratches can be easily removed. I have a "Scratch Removal Pen" (fiberglass brush). It does a great job! |

I like them in the order you have them. LOL  But in most cases besides a dress watch I prefer brushed. ;) |

It definitely depends on the style...can't choose just one, but, by general category: 1) Dress: polished 2) Sport: blasted |

For me brushed is the easiest to keep looking good and imho bridges the gap between dressy (polished) and toolish (blasted). |

I like my Brushed Titaniumn Luminor Power Reserve, has a subdued military look with having to wory about getting nicked up or scratched. I have OldeCrow's Polished hommage and it is looking sweet on a Lanyard lines yellow bull. Attachment: PAM124A.JPG (Downloaded 120 times) |

Brushed works well almost anywhere, though I do like a bead blasted finish on the right watch. Not so much into the polished look - can be a bit too 'bling bling'. |

the finish once again depends on the watch imo....but for reasons of care and durability the brushed/satin is easieat to care for from what I have experienced and has a great look as wellhand6.gif |

I get the best of both worlds on my Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Chronograph. The sides, top and bottom are polished and the lugs are brushed.:D |

I personally like polished best with a dress watch and blasted with anything else. The experience I have had with my watches though is that the ones that are polished get many nicks, but the blasted ones rarely get any. Because of this, I am preferring blasted these days...they just seem to hold up better for me. |

Brushed finish for me. Small media blasters are easy to set up and use, but they are just a little more work. |
