JTVwatches.com has been taken down. They have put it on the menu with the other stuff on JTV.com. However, the new pages aren't as nice as it used to be (IMHO) and the selection has dropped greatly.

Mike,

I think it may be a timing issue and getting everything transfered. If not the site now looks like a QVC selectionface4.gifand the watch show is dead.

Tony,
I agree it does look like a JTV/QVC mix of watches and brands. But, what a stupid time of the year to move your website. Right before the biggest holiday of the year. Makes ZERO sense to me. Why not wait a week or two. CRAZY!

I agree....was looking at it earlier, most of the Gevrils were gone and they only had one Vostok-Europe....not sure of the reasoning, but it does not make much sense.

They had some killer prices on straps last night before the switch.  I was going to see what all staps I wanted and order today.  Too late.  I did get a 30 count watch box on fri eve though.  :)
It doesnt look good though, no stretch pays or dedicated site.  Whats on the chopping block next?  The watch show?   Its sad for me.  SAH got me started in collecting watches.

Looking at the program schedule, I don't see any watch programs listed. I know it is JTV's jewelry schedule, but companies seem to like to axe things this time of year. So, I dunno. face4.gif

I agree with all of the above comments. Hopefully the problems will be temporary. I called their CS this morning to make sure the address for JTV Watch  returns is still the same now, and the CS rep. said that it is still the same , but that it may change in the future. He said he thought the change would be good eventually, but said things are unsettled at the moment.

Scott,

I too was ready to order 5-6 straps at the discount price, but the S&H at $4.99 per strap was ridiculus.

It's gotten to where none of the shopping networks appeal to me anymore. I even use to like watching some of the Cutlery ones but they just don't do it for me anymore either. Everyone is going to generic. No personality anymore. All very unimpressive anymore. :?

Tony,  I didnt get that far to see the S&H.  I just saw the strap prices.  You are right, that was ridiculous.  It would be nice to combine shipping on items such as straps.  Its a shame as I really do like the straps I have got from JTV.

I think all of the shopping shows are suffering.... promoting their venues on forums only lends them well educated WIS in the art of watches and how and when to buy ,who are driven by price , brands names and the art of the dealhand6.gif....someone commented awhile back that most WIS on the boards have outgrown ShopTV....so let's see some brand names at super prices! yahoo.gif

Both a friend of mine and myself canceled (or stopped) our order  when the tab hit nearly $30 for shipping six $13 clasps.

Well, that's a little bit of good news, then. jtv.com charges $4.99 for the first item, and only $2.99 for each other item. They also tend to do free shipping coupons all the time.

I hate the new site, though. :( Can't even browse by movement facet.
