I posted a similar thread in the BH forum below, but thought I'd repost here to see if we get more feedback (and to focus my questions a bit more)...

Looking into whether we should include screwdrivers with our watches, and it made me wonder what people think about these... it looks like our budget would allow a single Bergeon top-end driver, or two decent-quality French screwdrivers.

So... would you be impressed to get a top-end Bergeon screwdriver instead of no-name?  I'm of two minds on the topic... I kinda like the idea of including top-notch Bergeon tools in the box, but on the other hand, could send two of the no-names instead, which may be more useful (since you need two for strap changes anyhow)...

Or maybe the screwdrivers are superfluous, since we all have them already, and you'd rather save the $5-10 in packaging cost?

Thanks for all your thoughts/input!

NFW included the drivers (2) to change out the straps on the Autopilot.  I thought it was a nice touch and really appreciated it.  Dont know what kind they are.  Maybe Goerge could answer that.

I like the idea of including the proper screwdrivers to use on the watch. seems only fitting. Well worth the extra effort and/or cost... as long as it is minimal.toon1.gif

If the watch requires two screwdrivers to change a strap or bracelet, I would want two supplied with the watch as part of the OEM packaging.

Just a humble opinion.

Cheers - and good luck with the BH!

I think that most WIS have screw drivers, but it is still a nice touch...not sure how much the actual cost of the Burgeon are, but "no-name" should go for pennies...one can usually pick up a set of 6 decent precision drivers at the Dollar Store.

We use hex screws with the AutoPilot and decided it would definitely be worthwhile to include them.  We did not use any "name brand" drivers, but did make sure to use hardened tool steel of fine quality.

I must say that our customers like getting these. It just made sense because we include two straps with the AutoPilot (one rubber and one leather). I think if we didn't include the drivers it would have seemed like an incomplete kit.

Darkman, I think you'd be wise to include them.  Just my opinion....
