Tudor - Grantour Date & Chrono

Site: http://flylyf.com

Grantour, a new collection of TUDOR sport chic watches captures the excitement of the world of GT racing. Two models are presented in the Grantour collection: the Date and the Chrono. Both are fitted with a retro design black-lacquered steel bezel. Boasting strong lines, the hands of the watch are inspired by the sleek shapes of sports car design. The counter with red details emulates the dials on a GT dashboard. The Grantour Date’s leather strap is punched with micro-perforations like those on sports car seat covers; and the Grantour Chrono strap features six larger perforations reminiscent of driving gloves.

My, my, my...those are sweet!  I am particularly taken with the Grantour date three-hander.  What a nice watch.

I've been thinking about one of these since they were introduced at Basel....really like the look, not exactly sure why, they just look really cool...I have the screen saver from their website set up on one of my laptops to keep inticing me!!!

Very nice looking watches for sure. I actually like it better than many basic entry level Rolex watches out there. ;)

Very handsome looking timepieces, they definitely look race inspired to me.  I especially like the way the chronograph is laid out, the wide date window is sweet!  hand6.gifhand6.gif  The photographs were a pleasure to view also, thanks.

Has Tudor stopped actively selling in US? That's a much nicer looking piece than most intro Rolexes

I agree 100% Ken, I was at a Rolex AD in NC this week and I could honestly say, other than the Daytona there was not one watch that I was interested in......this I am considering big time

And mine...is next week!!!  Not being quite as greedy as the Dawg, while the Tudor would be welcome, indeed, I will humbly accept the any Debaufre Pilot watch!

Shady...don't know if it's "nicer", but, to me, it is more pleasing to the eye...for a hell of a lot less money!

Tudor is a classic style watch, reminds me of 50/60's Mad Men look and I like it!!

But if the Tudor and the SeaDweller(old style) were on the table...price not the issue I would take the SeaDweller 2 out of 3 times. Thumbsup3.gif

WOW  seems we got a few b-days this month on the boards here.. mine is next saturday as well..

no watches for me :( was gonna be able to get me 1 but my pony ( great pyreness) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pyrenees  decided 2 weeks ago to open my tool shed, help himself to the rat poision on the top shelf and share it with out other 5 dogs.. found em about 2 hrs later after they ate a combined total of about 16 bars.. the pony ate about 12 himself and the pugs shared the rest.. sigh well 1100$ later at the vets and they all will live .. now my tool shed has a pad lock lets see him pick that lol..

last year he also opened up the oven and took out a 23LBS turkey that just about finished and ate 3/4 of it before i caught.. elasped time about 10 mins lol

Happy Birthday to all my fellow cancers

Greg

Thanks for sharing and opening my eyes. Before your post of the Grantour Chrono, I thought it was just the Tudor Iconaut that turned my head each time a saw a Tudor shelf at the store. Now there's something else that can potentially cause wallet achemistake.gif. The Grantour is something I really fancy.
