Looking for new watch with a 24 hour dial. I am not finding too many, is that because I am not googling the right words to pull up a watch with a 24 hour dial or are they that scarce? Any suggestions? Not seeking expensive watch as I don't want my other watches to get jealous... hahaha but something fun and unique. I have seen the Luminox watch with a 12 hour dial and hands AND an additional 24 hour hand. I have a few watches that have a subdial with 24 hour hand, but am now looking for a 24 hour hand on the center axis of the watch. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Paul |

Wow, what took you so long to reply... Just kidding. Thanks for the help. Will continue my research tomorrow. Time to hit the sheets. You guys have been great here. I appreciate all the comments and friendly welcome I received here. Ordered a watch box and winder from the web yesterday, should come next week. Am getting worried about all the watches sitting in a drawer with the possibility of getting damaged. Will photograph and report on the boxes after they come. Night. Paul |

Take a look at Russian watches for an affordable, hand winder with a true 24-hour mechanism and dial. Best bets are the Aviator and Sturmanskie models. See the link for a whole page full of 24 hour hand crankers priced $200 or so. These are pretty well proven movements also. Trias also makes an inexpensive 24-hour watch. Zeno has a few too, but they are in the $1,000 "range." http://www.russia2all.com/vostok-europe-aviator-moscow-classic-watches/ Attachment: sturmanskie.jpg (Downloaded 58 times) Last edited on Mon Aug 17th, 2009 02:58 am by mcwright |

Don't know price range you are in but Glycine makes the finest, most classic 24 hour dial in their Airman model! |

Do they make one like the Russian models? |

Wow, the Glycine and Aristo are beautiful. The center one is too, but the Glycine has me drooling... I bought a Luminox 2002. A good price on a closeout did the trick for me. Now I have to google up the Glycine and see if it costs more or less than a black market kidney.
