The longer I own this watch the more I like it. INEXPENSIVE... You can find for 120-150 USD online.

Runs fine. I haven't checked the accuracy, but it is not an issue as I don't run trains both ways down a single track.

DETAIL in face. See video...

Nice bracelet, Good diameter. Not too big, not too small, fairly thin.

Did I mention it was INEXPENSIVE too?

Paul

Visit Google.com and search for Orient CET05001W to find a retailer. I know an online bookstore that happens to have it at a very good price right now.

nice watch but kinda small at 36mm for my tastes ;)...the Orient Mako sells for less and is a larger watch...and a forum fave at under $100....

This Swiss Made Locman 1970 eta 2824 a bunch of us snagged for $160. on Overstock a couple years ago still ranks high on my inexpensive list hand6.gif

I too like larger watches, but not too large... Amazon shows the case diameter of the Mako at 41mm. It shows the CET05001W to have a diameter of 42. Both of these watches are very inexpensive, but on Amazon, the Mako is more expensive...and smaller...

the Orient CET05001W you own is 41mm with the crown 36mm without....the Mako is 41mm-42mm without the crown I own a pepsi bezel and most of the members here have at least 1-2....IslandWatch has them on sale as low as $89.-$99.from time to time...here is a link with 2 of Mikes and if you use our search engine there's about 7 pages worth hand6.gif

That would be my Casio Edifice 5-motor.  Tons of functions, well-built solid link bracelet and a beautifully detailed dial.  All for SGD180 (USD120 +/-).

My favorite cheap watch of all time has to be this Alpha I bought for $37 delivered 5 years ago. It has been accurate and trouble free ever since.

Though not as inexpensive as
the Candino. This Movado was
still a bargain at $185.

Gosh, all my watches are inexpensive and they're all my favorites.  I've got one of those multi-eye Orients as well and it's great,  the Alpha chrono I wear a fair bit.  I guess the one I get the most kick out of is a vintage Caravelle from 1972.  I just love the dial and movement.
