Hi guys. I've been away for a long while but I hope you'll help me out in choosing a new diver.  I can spend up to $500 but no more at present, because I've been watch shopping this past month and well, you know how that is.  I have always loved the looks, quality and durability of the Marathon Sar series, and now they have the Tsar. Yeah, it's quartz but I don't mind that.  I was about to pull the trigger on one and then saw the Cave Dweller and World Diver.  I am to understand that Marathon is considered "old and boring" here - unlike the WUS forum where it is always hot?  I love the jagged "step" bezel on the Tsar, but I love the blue lume, the blue minute hand (CD), the simplicity of the dial and the 22mm lugs on the Boschett and Benarus. Please help me choose one of these three: CD, WD or Tsar.  My wrist is 7.25 exactly. Just as a refresher here are the three in all their splendor: Thanks!!!

I think, imo, between those three, I would take the Boschett. The blue second hand looks great. I also prefer the other case style of the world diver.

I like the 3 of them. But not all is to base on the appearance...
I would personnaly go for a swiss auto inside.
The Benarus is a looker: Specialy with the blue hands and numbers.
I have only the SAR automatic with Sub markers(wearing it today in fact). The case and crown of the marathon are greatly made: Can't find a crapy thing to say on it and the lume blast.
For the Boschett: I like the bezel and blue touch...
At the end, to change from the SAR, I would have go for Benarus in blue because the Marathon with numbers on dial isn't my cup of scotch...

pretty much a no quartz zone on 3T so at $500. and under I would go with the CDII cuz it is an auto with outstanding build quality, lume and a new awesome dive clasp not found on watches in this price range...the Marathons have been around for a long time and most of us here have been there and done that a few years ago so no hot news burning our wrists even though the Marathon is a awesome watch...on the otherhand I do have the Worldiver on order with the eta 2893 auto GMT but that is not in the $500. range.hand6.gif

.. don't forget 3T'rs are all called fanboys on other forums of the brands we sponsor and support here on 3T and wouldn't say any different even though our large collections are filled with watches from multiple brands, styles and price ranges...:D

I like all three as well.

I love my World Diver with the blue hand option, I signed up for it before they decided that they would build an Auto Version, if I was you I would save a bit more and wait for it.  I am also thinking about getting the CD2 as well.

I would go with the Boschett, very classie , and sport looking as well. The Benarus and Marathon are great watches too. Like you said,"Different Forums=Different Opinions. Look at all three pics and deceide which one calls you. After all it's your $500.00 and YOU will be looking at it on your wrist.  JMHO.  Ron

I agree with Oscar, i would go for the CDII for the automatic movement....if you want quartz I would go for the WD, had a TSAR and immediately (same day) flipped it because it was too small, got a JSAR instead.

Thanks for all the responses.  I just bought the Boschett Cave Dweller.  I had the fortune of meeting a WUS forum member who lives one town over, and he received his new CD in today's mail. So we met and he let me try it on and I loved it.  The case is THICK and striking. We met at McDonald's and the waitress who walked by even remarked on its beauty.
