This was a present from my wife 2 years ago on Christmas, I think its a Yacht timer or starter but apart from that no history of it or movement knowledge or value as it re surfaced yesterday while I was looking though my collection.
I thought to myself that information like this sits in a tree called 3T.....

Very cool! I'd love to know the history on that one myself.

No doubt someone here will come through..

I think Nic (Nabco) and Simon can help out on this.

Neo, this looks circa late 70s to me, though.ThumbsUp02.gif

I would agree with Jeff, this is vintage 1960's or 70's.  Would also agree it is some kind of timing device.

Neo, does it have a stop watch function?

It's a cool piece woohoo.gif

first click sets the second hand going and every minute the little dial moves, second click stops it and the 3rd resets.

Neo, check out this forum, looks like they might be able to help you out.

Based on what I could find out this 7 Jewel Chronograph (that how Breitling refers to a stopwatch movement) movement was common in several of their stopwatches...this forum should be able to give you more detail...

The movement is a Valjoux 320 - you can see the number on the movement and the letter in the shield is the factory mark for Valjoux. These pieces aren't particularly valuable unfortunately, If there is a serial number on the caseback we may be able to date it for you, I'm guessing 1970s.
