Hummm ... strap looks like it's shot and the case needs a good buffin' ... I wonder what sorta shape the movement's in? ... With this kinda thing - Who knowz?

I guess that's why the bidding hasn't gone higher! ...

You're right. The strap can be replaced. But, the case does look a bit on the rough side. Not unusual for an older, used watch mind you, but rough none-the-less. There are too many choices out there. If it were my auction, I'd have put a new or newer strap on it for starters. :)

Sold for $342....Reason for Low bidding could have been that this watch was not listed under a JLM search..many Watches are listed under various ways...this one only Came Up when Doing a Search under Valjoux 7750..which BTW only brought up 6 Watches Total under that Listing..all w/No Bids or Very Low Bids..Here I am Giving Away My E-Bay Secrets..LOL! Still a good buy on a 7750...Macro Photography has a way of making things looks worse than they are .The case looks free of any knicks with the exception of some small scratches easily polished. The leather straps on JLM's are terrible from the get go..as for the movemnet it's a 7750.. a workhorse and a simple e-mail to the seller would have clarified any deceptions there...all rules of thumb when buying anything on the Bay..These JLM's are no longer made and from the Basel era of the Brand which IMO are Far more Superior than What is being Produced for Slop these days O.A.
