I had my eye on one of these.  Anyone ever see one up close?  Hard to find any non-stock vendor photos.  Recommended?

Serious-looking chrono there. I know very little about the brand and watch but you may want to PM Paxman (Mark) because I think he has one and he recently modded the hands on that skeleton watch of his.

Hope this helps.

No offence but it seems to be a cheap chinese chrono with a 5030D from Ronda with "Chrono Swiss" written down the dial: Meaning that the movement is Swiss but the rest is just a "chrono from...Hell?"
It's a 42mm diameter case and 100m water tight...
Here's a "real life" pic who don't say much but that's the only one I found...http://a.newsgroup.la/thread-167047-1-1.html
If you really are on quartz precision and in love of this tri-compax feature, I recommand the tough titanium version of CX 1000m:
http://cgi.ebay.com/CX-Swiss-Military-Watch-Argonaut-1000-TQ-blue-/260662054424?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3cb0ab4e18#ht_1318wt_1137
There, you are sure to have a quality, durable piece -Swiss Made- watch with the quartz precision who will be still worth some bucks after been used a while: Ask "BigSubJeff" or "BigRustyPig" who commented up my post, he have the huge unkillable auto version. Those watches withstand charges of elephant hordes...
The Stührling will do like a cheap Invictus: Beeing worth peanuts after 3 days wearing and 5 hairlines and maybe break-down shortly....
Maybe better one CX instead of 3 Stührlings...?
My opinion

Don't PM me... I do NOT have one of these.whichone.gif I don't know who Jeff is thinking of because I don't have a skeleton either...

Inexpensive chrono. The brand is known for the dial work they produce from vintage machines. Mainly sold on that big TV shopping channel where the yahoos hawk this stuff!

YUP, that's me. I only have the Charmex SMW 20,000 ft that William says can withstand a charge of hordes of elephantsROF_Dog.gif because of its build characteristics. I'm not really into quartz but William has a point on Swiis-made quartz that you might want to consider. Jeff.
