This watch never appealed me anywayno.gif...Nothing special inside it. It's all "ever seen" to me, from the dial to the case... Or I'm the only one looking at it like that?

this particular Vixa as with most Vixas are very collectible ...the Type 1 was a trilogy of 100 each in Blue,Black and Red and sold out quickly...I haven't seen any WIS who owns all 3 colors and they rarely hit the sales forums. They hold their own depending on condition anywhere from $475.-$650. on the secondary market...the one that is FS in this thread comes in a box but the ones that are priced higher came delivered in  a Foreign Legion pouch on bracelet with a spare strap.
....The Vixa Type 1 may be simple in design but very well made by a company that is no longer in business...the Italian/German relationship has always been a draw to this brand imo...I have been searching for the Black dial almost 5 years with no luck to complete my Trilogy...Thanks to my Gumba Tony I recently added the Red dial...

Exactly Oscar! Had I known TD was thinking of parting with the red I would have liked that one too. I believe the owner of another forum we all know may have the complete trilogy.

Will, beyond the exclusivity of the Type-1 there are many things to like about the watch though as you say there is nothing new or revolutionary to be seen. Understand 99% of the watches seen at 3T are using the tried and true ETA movements while a small percentage are true manufacture movements. With the Type-1 I appreciate the unique and beautiful blue dial which is just as clean and classic as anything, the timeless cathedral hands and a well finished and well sized case. Imho these are sublime and desirable looking watches as well as being collectible. Though I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the other dial colors I understand the red (pigeon's blood no?) is rich and wonderful.

I see Mark...Well, on my side, I'm never been found of cathedral hands...Had a Zeno 8800 "bubble" with those hands: Didn't like so much the hands and sold it. Still no regret.
After that, the cyclop isn't so much my cup of tea and after my Marathon SAR, I just never wanted another cyclop: It stand too much in the way for my taste...

+ That I generally observed that watches coming from Italy are far to be the cheapest on the European market...
Then the price is ridiculously low and he could certainly sell it much more expensive to some Italians walking by, or on some Italian forum, due to the similar "Italian vintage diver" dial and it's popularity down there.
Suspicious for my part...

I must say the only time I bought out of Italy was when I purchased from Squale directly and nothing to regret here but i've heard all types of stories from Italy so I was pretty much whichone.gifall the time...

Also... this guy doesn't give up!!!mad.gifthe worst of it is that he only needs one innocent soul to fall and he gets away with it....
