Too busy for me. Too many X's. Don't need them on the dial and then on the lugs.

Hay someone could paint the X's red and it would be good to go for Ken.

This new brand is not about watches, it's about branding...
Definitely not a European way of communication in my meaning. Even less a Swiss or german way...
Ideal watch for pornstars: Xs everywhere, flashy, all about appearances

Meh. Too blingy for my taste, but I do like the use of vintage manual movements.

I think the dials are too busy and overall design is too flashy.

The company could have come up with a better name than CodeX, I guess.

The triple calendar on the bottom right of the pic could be appealing but I'd like to see the bling turned down a bit.

<later>

The Venus Master model. Apparently only available in 135g of 18ct gold! Good grief.

I used this new Swiss label to show what is going on in Swiss Made watches recently....CodeX is indeed a Swiss company aka Swiss Chronometrie SA with a Jura based director Rene' Kohli who trademarked the name CodeX in 62 countries and launched the company in Switzerland....but the capitol came from a partner and Chinese businessman Tao Li,CEO of Ebohr Manufacturing who not only put up the money but is making the cases.
...Ebohr is a low-medium end watch producer who also sells under the name of Rossini a inexpensive watch brand you can find on eBay.
...with all the talk about about established Swiss brands who were at 1 time considered or thought to be 100% Swiss and have now started outsourcing to China I found this new company CodeX to be a twist in the latest development of China trying to go mainstream Swiss with the Asian market in view by partnering and launching in Switzerland....many of the local boutiques have called this new brand a "Trojan Horse".

or a Swiss horse hiding it's Chinese origins...deception nonetheless..
...the Asian watch market is the largest and even they want Swiss quality...although the CodeX cases are made in HK they are said to be finished in Switzerland...so does this make it right to charge high end Swiss prices as CodeX and many other Swiss watch companies are doing?

When brands without conscience see that somes are making a lot of money by doing it without beeing exposed: They are offcourse tempted to do the same...
Fabrication cost: 200$ / Selling price: 2000$ is tempting...For people who have no mirrors at home.
The problem is that greed will destroy the Swiss watch industry and it's credibility if nobody ever get exposed selling lies.
It's not the Chinese's fault: It's the fault of those brands. If the Chinese wasn't doing it, it would be someone else.
The "swiss made" appellation should be more restricted.

in 07' the Swiss federation voted in favor of stricter laws governing "Swiss Made" to 80% of final production to be done in Switzerland...the Swiss government in turn voted it down as they felt it would hurt many Swiss brands...
...so Will you are right that certain companies will try to get away with whatever they can whether it is within Swiss Federation guidelines or not as many of the HK factories will put whatever you like on their dials and cases...
but as long as WIS continue to believe whatever they read or are told this deception will go on...

I see Oscar...A shame that the Swiss Gvt turned down this 80/20 proposition.
And I tell you: It wasn't for protecting Swiss brands..
It was just for protecting the capitals they received from taxing those brands.
Like Switzerland wasn't rich enough, they prefered to degrade them future watch appellation for present money: They just sold themself like...
