I will, on occasion, wear 2 watches (one on each wrist). Yeah, its strange and kooky, and people will stare and ask "why?", but I like it. Its just another piece of jewelery!

Because I'm in the business I started doing it so I could "advertise" two watches at once. But now I do it with watches from my own personal collection too. And I know that most people here have far more watches than I do - think about it, you'd cycle through your collection twice as fast.

And think of the difficulty of taking a wristshot subtlelaugh.gif.

So, anybody here admit to doing this? Or maybe as an anklet (ok, that's too far).

Marc

Very peculiar there Marc...in a good way!Thumbsup3.gif...We have some pretty hardcore WIS here at 3T and I happen to know for a fact that one in particular [uh....Jeff (aka bigrustypig)!...are you reading this post?]thumbsup.gif

I seem to recall a post with Jeff wearing one on each wrist, and a soft leather belt with other pieces strapped to the belt to give the mechanicals a good workout!!! (I think he may have even been wearing a pair of Cargo Shorts with a watch in each pocket) subtlelaugh.gif   Yes, his wife knows that he is WIS crazy and should be committed, but really....you simply MUST keep those mechanicals stretched, lubricated, and in good health...you know?  I have already learned a ton of WIS info from Jeff and continue to learn more all the time...one of the nicest WIS you will ever meet too!

So yes Marc, it is ok to wear one on each wrist (ok, I haven't tried it yet outside the privacy of my own residence for more than a minute, ...  .... ... maybe someday!)

...so, in polling the great WIS here at 3T...don't think even for a minute that an "anklet" may be going too far!!!bamby.gif

-Chris

Funny you should bring this topic up today Marc. I was thinking we've sort of lost it as WIS what with our fresh watches every day. And what have we lost? Well i's conceivable we've lost a solid watch identity in favor of a different watch every day identity. A watch on each wrist is madness which almost makes sense if you're advertising and in the business.

So count me out of the two watches per day crew. In fact I'm thinking of doing something as radical as wearing one watch for a week. That's right... one watch... one week.whichone.gif

I'll sometimes wear 2 when at home, but haven't gone out in public that way, lol.
If you watch NASA stuff, you'll notice many people at "mission control" wearing 2 watches.

Hahaha! Don't feel bad, Marc....wearing 2 watches at any time is a natural thing to do.subtlelaugh.gif

Yup, Chris and Brice are right. I am sort of WISsessive-WISpulsive and have no problems flashing 2 watches at once. In the winter when I'm heavily covered in cold gear, I even get to wear 4 with bubble wrap on the other 2 watches so that the cases/crowns don't get too comfortable with each other.

Chris hit it right on the button too....I have a specially made set of cargo shorts that i wear around the house with watches in the pockets and some more watches looped through my belt. This keeps them wound quite well.

So, to assure you, you're not alone amigo! Enjoy those watches the way you want them. you rock.gif

Also am a closet 2 watch wearer...Usually just hangin around the house and when working out. If I'm cleaning or something where the watches could get dinged or knocked on something, I put them in the pockets...

See that, Mark? You don't really have to suffer in silence and just wear 1 watch for a full week.subtlelaugh.gif
