Excellent !!!excellent.gif

Can't wait to see some real world pics !!!!!
I can't wait to see it myself Chris....on my wrist!
...I wore my bronze Shark to The Schvitz/Cleveland today in the steamroom ...I didn't know if the heat and steam would help the patina along but had an idea it would and it did!...totally different look that with the egg bath...if it ever stops raining here I'll take some pics

Awesome Oscar!!!! thumbsup.gif  ...I will be waiting in anticipation of the "Gauge" showing up on your wrist!!!!  This is a cool one (I got distracted by something else in the meantime...and well...a WIS has to show a little restraint!!!) subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif  I was VERY tempted, however.

Would love to see some pics of your Bronze Shark Diver after a trip to the steam room!!!!  I had the same thoughts as you in that high humidity and heat has got to be very good for developing some patina!!!!

Look forward to seeing it in the daily post (or please feel free to post it up as a separate post!!!)toon1.gif...it sure seems like there is interest from impatient WIS regarding how to get that virgin bronze to get on with the patina.  Man, how I wish I was near a tropical location (happened back near Christmas, but all before the bronze pieces started showing up).

I believe the Gauge will be a bit different in life than in the proto pics...we will see shortly...the bShark is darkening quickly since it's steam bath...the case is catching up to the bezel color since this pic was taken...I think Helson used a different bronze composition than Benarus is the way it is patina'd.ThumbsUp02.gif

Awesome Oscar!!!  The B-Shark looks very cool and the patina is really coming along!!!  thumbsup.gifmy love.gif

As far as I know, both the Moray and the Shark Diver use the UNI 5275 Alloy (CuAl11Fe4Ni4)...Anonimo uses this Alloy on their bronze pieces too...I know that Kazimon used a different Alloy for their Bronze 1500.  I think the fact that the Moray is a Blasted finish sort of "opens up" the metal a little more which I'm thinking is contributing to them looking very different in appearance (only my thoughts though...homerthinks.gif ).

Can't wait to see those Gauge pieces start to arrive!!!

never thought of the blasted vs brushed but it sounds logical...the bShark is so different...I'll takes some side by sides later.
...I am excited about the Gauge and never thought I would pony up this amount on a boutique but I have seen a couple brands that started out that way end up in the mainstream and speculating is just another piece of this hobby imo.

Can't see that one unless you are going to use it for diving only. Just not practical to wear IMHO. Thank you for sharing.

I put myself on the waiting list, crossing my fingers for an email, but realistically I know it's a long shot.

Perfect, Oscar. I look forward to wrist shots and a good review of the Gauge, if you have time. Your bronze Helson has a patina that is really eye-catching and uncommon. I think that will darken over time.

Thanks, can't wait.

I got bezel #3, which I believe is the same one as he had in the prototype pix.  How 'bout you?
