I wondered if anyone has had experiences going through an on line watch Broker to sell a higher end timepiece? Any opinions?

Never and I don't think that I would ever try if I was in this position. Would not want to be proposed a ridiculous price and see it resold for big buks...no.gif

I think you would be better off asking help from someone you trust and has knowledge of higher end pieces and their value rather than a broker...it would also depend on what kind of higher end watch you're talking about...are you talking 5 figures,6 figures?

Agree. How 'high end' is it? Is it a rare complication? What metal?

well for me, it was a big purchase. It was mid 5 figure purchase. I do not know anyone who has ever bought or dealt in a watch over 1k. Our local AD's I have spoken to never heard of DR. They basically deal Rolex & Breitling as their high end brands. My friends think collecting watches is a rather odd hobby.
It is a Daniel Roth Premier Retrograde. DR movement -

DR has a very nice line of watches. I've seen two places I visit allot sell them and one I have done business with in the past. Bought from one. If you want to contact them and see what they say just PM me and I'll shoot you their online sites and you can go from there. Not sure I would every go that route myself.
