What do you folks think? Nice vintage, and Breitlingish look to it IMHO

You know me... not a huge chrono fan. This is really nice however. Case and dial look great. Not sure if the bezel fits the vibe, but you're right in saying it has a nice retro vibe to it. New model? Secondary market? Looks nice, TD.

New release at Basel this year Mark. A re-release of a version they did in 1971 but with a larger case design etc. Modified Valjoux 7753. Limited to 1971 pieces I think.

Little stiff price point at $1895 retail though. IMHO

I like it a lot. I'm not yet a Hammy convert but this could be the model that will do it. Thanks for posting this.ThumbsUp02.gif

Nice look but price point is a bit to high. Because it is a LE?

Tony...I like this upcoming Limited Edition Pan-Europ Re-issue from Hamilton alot!!thumbsup.gif

I have been looking at this one for the last several months ever since it was announced at Pre-Basel this year (one of the main reasons I was jonesing for one is 1971 is my birth year...yep, will be turning 40 later this year...thought it would be a cool milestone sort of piece, although I've also been thinking about an even more special grail piece to mark the occasion!).

I think they have done a great job with the look of this re-issue (great size too).  Here is a pic of the original 1971 Pan-Europ next to the re-issue.

I'm tempted, but hoping to find one below the MSRP of $1825 (supposed to be available sometime around September of this year).

Chris, this would be a good bday gift to yourself when you turn 40. Of all the Hamiltons I've seen, really, this one is excellent piece in terms of design and collectability value and much better than the original. IMVHO the chance of getting this below MSRP is high. I'd say go for it, amigo!

Thanks Jeff! thankyou.gif....agree, this would be a great B-day gift to commemorate the 40 year milestone.

Also agree there is a pretty good chance of getting this below MSRP...better start chatting with the local AD...happy guy.gif

I agree with Jeep. I'm a big Hammy fan and frankly, I've been a fan of when they renew their own heritage, such as the Elvis Ventura about four years back. All I can say is that's really cool...
