Pretty simple but you must understand GMT time.

Do a google search for GMT time, and start reading.subtlelaugh.gif

I'm not telling, you must learn on your own. subtlelaugh.gif

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

I hear yah and I have had a dual time zone watch but not a GMT world Timer with the roating bezel and the muti time zones.

Usually I dig it out myself but sometimes a thread is an easy way out.  homerthinks.gif

Hello Google.

subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif

Let say you have the second timezone set to GMT time 1800hrs on the dial, on the bezel there is a marking GMT , align the bezel to the second timezone hour hand. Each dot represent an hour, and city . Anything counterclockwise = minus, clockwise = plus from that position on the bezel, once that done you want to know New York time subtract 5 hours from the GMT time it should = 1300 hrs.

If you still don't understand read this PDF from Seiko it not the same watch, but same principle.

Heck, Shady, it's not that complicated.  If you are traveling, either set the GMT hand to your local time or to your home time to get two time zones.  Then rotate the bezel so that the time zone (city) where you are is on your current time (hour hand) where you are and count the time zones on the bezel to the desired time zone (again, city) and either add or subtract from your current time to get the time in that city. crap.gif

Most GMT watches are set by pulling the crown out to the first position. Then, turning the crown in one direction will set the date; turning the crown in the opposite direction will set the GMT hand.

Keep in mind that the GMT hand uses the 24-hour scale on the dial, so be sure to set the GMT hand accordingly. For example, if it's 10:00am, then set the GMT hand to the 10. If it's 10:00pm, then set the GMT hand to 22. The GMT hand will go around the dial once every 24 hours, so it becomes easy to tell day from night using that hand.

As was noted, when you travel, you can set the GMT hand to your local time zone while the standard hour hand keeps track of your home time, or vice versa. It's probably better to use the GMT hand to track your local time zone. Then, to use the bezel, turn it until the city that represents the time zone you're in is aligned with the GMT hand. Then, look for the city representing the time zone you're interested in and see which hour on the 24-hour scale it's aligned with - that's the hour in the third time zone (your standard hour hand is tracking time at home, the GMT hand is tracking time where you are) you're interested in.

You'll have to repeat this operation each time you check the time in a third time zone; the bezel doesn't stay synchronized with the rest of the watch.

I hope this was helpful - Good Luck!
