Standard diver, Swiss Made, ETA 2824-2.............not a bad $250 watch, except the quoted price is $799.99!!!!!!!     You know the old saying, "I may have fallen off the turnip truck...........but not last night!"

I might even pay a few more than $250 if the build quality and design set it apart, but based on the drawing and specs, I wouldn't spend $800 on it... I see it at best as a sub $500 watch!!

As they say, "If you don't like it; don't buy it." My gut tells me those who won't buy it will outnumber those who do. Am I missing something about the watch??

all the best,

TESTIFY!! But the Scorpion is a diver and the Ball just won't do that. One could get many a diver in that range and I hazzard a guess some that might even be tested to 300m...not that I would ever test the limits!!

For $800 I would prefer a chrono with a val 7750..but a 2824-2 and a brand new company...not me!!! As the saying goes...a fool and his money is soon parted....
