Great to see some 3T'ers receiving their Helberg CH1 watches!

Loving mine right out of the gate...amazing case and sapphire bubble crystal, with great fit/finish overall! A completely unique piece that is going to be hard to fly under the radar with, unless you are wearing it under your sweater sleeve!

The lume performance is my only nit given BG W9 Superluminova on the spec sheet...I expected it to be brighter overall and the application is not completely uniform showing dim spots in the center of the circular markers. It does appear to be fairly long lasting, however, so that is a plus.

The piece is still truly amazing though...love the gutsy move from Clemens at Helberg in producing the CH1 inspired by the Rolex Deep Sea Special from 1960! Bravo! bravo.gif

Trust me, you don't own anything remotely like this one, especially if you went with the spherical bubble crystal!

Please post up pics of yours as they arrive!

Here's mine (this thing is a bugger to photograph due to that spherical bubble crystal...which I love!)

I'm drooling on this, Chris. It's a perfect statement watch and really means what a serious WIS the owner is.

The reflections devil lives inside that bubble and there's no way you can fight it. From the reflection on the crystal I can see your lunch.....pizza!

Enjoy it, amigo and keep posting.

Hey Chris,

this piece is really awesome.
Love that case and bubble crystal.

Have you ordered the bracelet ?

I think on a Iso/Cuda that piece looks great !

I really must have those watch.anodie.gif

The stainless steel version with golden hands and clean bezel is my favorite.

Jeff, Joe, Oscar, Greg, Phil...thanks for the kind words on the CH1! Enjoying the uniqueness of this one! Looking forward to seeing others posting up their pics in this thread! thumbsup.gif

Jeff - Agree with you my friend...a 'statement' watch for sure, and one that's very difficult to wear inconspicuously on the exposed wrist! My son exclaimed "Woh!, what is that" after first seeing it on my wrist...the bubble crystal really grabs attention!

Phil - I didn't order the ss bracelet with mine. Had I gone with the ss case, I likely would have. I agree with your comments regarding an Iso/Cuda combo...should be a sweet combo for sure!

Let's see more CH1 pics!

Well, here's my own CH1. I love it but wished it had stronger lume and improved crown stem motion. But overall, I really love this one. Mine comes with the optional SS bracelet. I plan t switch to that tomorrow or maybe try out an Isofrane, as Herr Philipp suggested.

The long trip to Manila somehow caused all of Santa's reindeer to be weary....thus the slight delay.

Looks sweet Jeff! thumbsup.gif

Congrats and very glad to see this one finally make its way to your wrist!

I agree with your points made regarding the negatives, but the piece overall is an outstanding effort!

I'm also thinking of moving mine over to an Isofane, or maybe try some more leather combos since I didn't order the ss bracelet.

Thanks, amigo.

I tried the CH1 on its bracelet and initial fit could actually fit my forearm. And because we don't have a Daily Forearm Check, I need to remove 6 links. That's a lot. But I think I can say the CH1 looks better on bracelet. It takes on a totally different look with the bronze complementing the SS and vice versa. Will post pics soon.

Hey, Chris. Here's a shot....DAILY FOREARM CHECK.

Awesome Jeff! Love the Forearm check!!! dog smile.gif

Looks great on the ss bracelet...I wasn't sure about how the ss bracelet would look with the Bronze case, but it really works! thumbsup.gif Maybe I'll have to order a bracelet at some point!

Big Congrats, Oscar. The entire combo looks so unique. Each time I see this astrodome crystal, I regret not getting it. I might shoot down one for myself in SS.

Enjoy!

Looks good. We seem to have the same size wrist. I'm about a 6.5 inch wrist. Are we the same?

Some patina shots of mine (this was a really fast effort due to time contraints with the LOS gel...I may tweak things a bit when I get some time).

Nothing quite like this one! happy guy.gif

Amazing patina, Chris....so much, so fast! I may need to play catch up with you on this. And yes, it would have been the ideal scenario having both models.
