Super Luminova c3 home job

Sandwich dial lume job hand applied three coats by hand brush

dial template installed so I wont paint lume all over the place ...... didn't stop me from wipeing it off on my pants though....
:P

black dial face installed now with new lume showing through nicely!

They make a pressureized "pen" for appling lume, after this little job I am seriously interested in that pen... the next sandwich dial I do I'll try a syringe to apply the lume and see if thats easier....

Looks like a good job to me.  I have to learn more about the process.  Thanks for the info.  Where did you get your supplies?

It did turn out real good, If I was a little more anal retentive I would put one more coat on it but its better than others I've seen so I'll stop here.

I bought the sumerlume streight from Tritec RC. one c3 kit and two dark blue kits.

I've been collecting parts to build two of these for the last three months... it shouldn't be hard to tell what kind of homage it is by the dial now :P I'm still waiting on the hands I want... but hopefully I will have the finished product to show for it sometime in June!
