I'm contemplating a Max Bill design by Junghans.Any1 here ever seen the real thing??My problem is I'm used to being able to get some hands on experience w/ a purchase 1st & this is impossible as no 1 sells these in my area & I believe nowhere can you get a hands on w/ this particular brand.I'm used to pretty big watches so this 1 is a little out of my size frame.

Any inputs would be appreciated.
William

Bought mine at the Wempe in Paris. I have had many watches come and go, but this one is a keeper. Arguably one of the most beautiful chronos around. I picked the black over the white dial by an eyelash.

A smaller watch, but doesn't look small because of the no bezel case. It is very slight and light on the wrist. Feels like wearing vintage. I only wear mine when i have a sleeve, as the potential for scratching the acrylic crystal freaks me out.

Thanks Mr.N.I want this BAD but like I said I have nowhere to try it on or check it out.But I'm ready to take the risk,as it looks like no risk involved.

have seen them a couple of times at jewelers here in N.E.Ohio and have been meaning on going to their US distributor here in Chagrin Falls,Ohio which is about 30 mins. or so from my house, but am waiting for the new Mx Bills to get in stock, like pictured below in vintage arabic dial and strap.I really like the black dial model chronoscope as well...classic Bauhaus!ThumbsUp02.gif

History and quality of the Junghams is A-ok, William. But it is small and thin and in your stash of Pams and Rollies, this piece might not get lots of sun. On the other hand, for dress events, this one would be perfect.

Amen! I totally agree. It is really a beautiful piece and that can be so elegantly peeping out of cuffs.
