Anyone that tried or is thinking trying this serious bad-ass 8000m watch?
Nobody is selling so much specs for this price point...

Yes, me....

I am thinking about to buy this one.

Like the chunky bezel.
What a tool...

But only the glossy dial. I am not a fan of glossy dials.

This glossy dial could give the impression that the dial is not as deep under the crystal as it is...
I think that they tried both mat and glossy: If they went for the glossy, they must have a reason...

Could be...

I prefer the matte dial of the CH1. Love it.

That´s a nice one... But 3000m resistance is not enough when you do your Kata under the showerdog smile.gif

It's an awesome watch, no doubt, and I agree...SERIOUS specs at this price point.

I have the regular Kalmar 2 (only rated at 3000m, but is a better match for my girlie wrists!subtlelaugh.gif As far as I understand, Clemens actually certified the regular case to 6000m...).

I can tell you, the build quality it absolutely SUPERB!thumbsup.gif

Someone should go for the 8K version!

Here you go Oscar :
You can see that the watch was tested under 800bar pressure for approximatively 1 mnt 30 sec.
Now, like you, I can observe that the testing company name was clearly masked on the document and I don´t know why.
Until now KUM and Fraunhofer never had them tests masked: The 6000m Kalmar was tested at KUM and the VDB 12000m was tested at Fraunhofer.

Saw that one today too Will! thumbsup.gif

Very cool bottom-of-the-Marianas-Trench-Experimental from H20!

Looks like the caseback of this beast is stamped 15000m...so it appears H2O is aiming to shoot right past that 12000m mark. chickendance.gif

Heck of a watch. I'd like to gun for one for ure but it is so hard to get one to where I am without suffering a stroke from customs' taxes and duties.

Also, they ship only to the card billing address and this won't work for me. Darn! Beauty of a watch!
