Interesting development here with the Frederique Constant Group (which includes the Alpina brand), being purchased by Citizen. Check out news article here: http://www.watchpro.com/frederique-constant-group-bought-by-citizen/ Article states that Citizen will also present a ready distribution network in the US for Frederique Constant and Alpina watches. |

seems Asian companies are buying up the Swiss companies at a higher rate recently...in this case Citizen may be a good thing imho. |
