For $149. Slop site says its powered by a 2824. I didn't know you could get this out of a 2824?!?

I wouldnt go for it - the description doesnt match the watch, as it states there is a date window at 6, which clearly there is not.  Also didnt know the 2824 could support retrograde date and 24 hr complications??  :shock:

Besides, take a good look at it - reminds me of a baseball... imho of course... :D

A general rule of thumb is if they dont show the back of the watch in the pictures then it is a quarts.
