My question is this? Do all movements look like someone took a mini screwdriver to it. Because I see alot of gouges in the the main part of the movement. I also thought that for the most part the main part of the movement was done by machine (assembly line) then the rest done by technicians. Someone please correct me :? This is brutal, especially the "claw" tool. A google search reveals that the tool is called crystal remover. Speaking of watch knowledge:D |

@jakisbck The movements don't have to be finished like they are a work of art when nobody sees them and it doesn't make the movement any better :) and @Coke I had tears in my eyes (from laughing) after seeing that photo of him useing a crystal lift to remove the movement. Then I thought, If I had just bought a bag of tools from Ebay I would have done exactly the same thing. :D Fortunatly I bought a bag of tools from ebay and then found Ofrei, so I figured out what the tools were for before I started taking pictures ;) phew.. close call that could have been me! hehe still laughing about the crystal lift pictures lol hehe........ |
