Sibling rivalry.....Black Sumo SBDC 001 on the left and Blue Sumo SBDC 003 on the right. The black one is my new arrival of about 2-3 weeks ago. I love them both. Super accurate and really the poor man's Rolexsmile8.gif.

Another perspective. I seem to be drawn to the black Sumo more than the blue one.

That bezel on your Sea Angler looks like it has received some custom treatment...there appears to be more "relief" / "depth" to the black bezel insert texture relative to the numbers...did you customize this?....looks great!!!ThumbsUp02.gif

I haven't worn this one in a while, but agree it is a great and unique piece from the Sea Angler series.

Yes. I had a doorframe accident which put a huge dent in the plastic bezel filler. I removed that, and considered leaving the bezel bare. I couldn't get the finish even so I used several coats of enamel spray paint, followed by several more of clear enamel.

I'm thinking of sanding the clear coat off of the indicies of the bezel and re-polishing them. I would not recommend removing this bezel; it isn't easy. Glad you like the look!

Wow...I can imagine that was a project that ended up being more than you bargained for, but the result looks great and I'm a sucker for relieved indices in a dive bezel (reference the DWATCH Sting Ray for that type of bezel...done very well).

Thanks for the tip regarding the bezel...I am about to put a new crystal in my Lume Dial SA (or I should say, have a watch maker do it).  I am assuming that they will have to remove the bezel to put the new crystal in...anything specific I should warn the watch maker about?

Thanks,

Chris

well I was trying to see which watch to put my new-to-me strap on, originally meant for the Dwatch... was too thick to fit the quasi non existent V-Wolf lugs
For now I put it on my Homage and decied to wear it to go get the Jeep oil changed and brakes checked...
Just Q&D's

A HUGE change up! I have been waiting on this for over 8 weeks and it showed up today. I had the Vintager Quarry strap waiting and slapped in on, shot some photos and now i am going to enjoy this one out in the drizzle at my daughters soccer match! Man i hate the wait but this one has really been worth it! now for the 2 best photos of the 20 some i took.
