Orient "HOGRIDER", my new arrival. I also made a review on this yesterday (NEW ARRIVALS SECTION) if you'd be interested.

Chris, amigo, glad you liked the comparison shots and yes, you hit the bullseye, I might think of the 5 ring lowlite Zulu for this one. Really a no brainer watch for the price.

Toxic/Nic/Trent/Metsfan99...thanks for the kind words. I thought I'd add more text as Orient seems to be "underepresented" and yet, it's a decent watch. Maybe more WIS will check out the brand too. More fun for all.

Janner, yes, I agree with you. Orient seems to have gotten it this time.

Bill, sushi?subtlelaugh.gif Yup, another flavor....

Mcvol17, true. Markers aren't as great as Seiko and I missed to mention that in my review. Thanks.

Mark, the lume department is really a let down but the bezelwork is kinda decent...for the price and the expectationsubtlelaugh.gif

IanM, mate, I was also looking for something in yellow. Chris mentioned that to me but somehow I haven't seen one yet. The website shows only black and orange for this line. Maybe a yellow is in the offing down the road. 22mm all the way down on the bracelet is something that I also like and sometimes makes a difference in terms of sturdiness and feel.

Thanks for all your kind words, gentlemen, on the watch and the review.ThumbsUp02.gif

Jeff, congrats on another great diver!  I think these must represent the best value for money out there, manufactur movement and all!  I had a great two weeks in the company of my Orient Mako on the bike trip.

Bullseye, Graham. ThumbsUp02.gifThat's exactly why I got the Hogrider soon after you described your Orient's performance on the 2 week bike ride you just did. I then knew the brand was dependable. Also, I saw Skip's posts and was intrigued by the brand. Thanks also for the kind words.

A Blue dial is also available.

Very true. Thanks, amigothumbsup.gif. I saw one at another AD in blue again yesterday. Looks nice and would be great with blue Zulu or blue Nato. These Mako 2s are looking really nice.
