Thanks very much Jeff, Brice, and Nate for the kind words...thankyou.gif

I have been longing for a 6105-8110 for quite some time, but as you know, we WIS tend to loose focus on a regular basis.

Now keep in mind that this piece is not 100% original and is one of the refurbished options that you see from many sellers out there on "the bay"...I tried to go with a seller that had a good reputation for doing good work.  The 6105B hacking movement is all original and has been cleaned and serviced...dial, hands, and bezel insert are new, and the case has seen some light repolishing, brushing work to spiff up the appearance a bit.

I like it!!!

(boats, docks, pool, ) did I mention I am exactly 27 seconds from the beach by car? What if I offered up my Gir..... No, Better not go there. bamby.gif

Always, always I wanted to shoot down an 007 and when I see a wrist shot like this, I end up wanting one even more and more. Something always blocks the line of sightsubtlelaugh.gif. This is cool, Nate.ThumbsUp02.gif. Speaking of bracelets, I might get the 007 with the president and will see how it goes.

thanks (I think;) ) Chris!
Well working this out with Steve just kinda happened and was a right time right place kinda thing!;) steve and I were emailing about something different and ended up talking about that wonderful Heroic18 strap on his pics of the modded MM. Next thing you know I ask him about his
plans his two modded MMs, if he'd sell them. First I couldn't decide which I wanted, liked different things about both! 5 minutes later I paypaled him $ for the grey one... Another 2/3 emails and 15 minutes later I paypaled him again and owned bothcrap.gif
good thing I had sold all my homages but one:)
They are both great and my Q&Ds taken at work do not do them justice!!!

thankyou.gif for the compliment:) the Mini Fiddy is the first one I chose and bought first due it's cool case and the great color combo.
I bought both watches from Steve Laughlin(Benarus) who did the mods himself (search his threads where he posted them with pics of the mod processthumbsup.gif). He did a great job on his first two MM modsexcellent.gif! And I am happy to give these two one of a kind beauties a new homeThumbsUp02.gif

thanks!!' yeah I think that croc strap (one that came with the Moray) would rock on they grey dial mini!! See the strap on the blue dial titanium watch, it was brushed so it is no longer shiny but flat black and more
vintage IMO. This way it goes better with the titanium case ThumbsUp02.gif
what do you think?

I just got these this afternoon at 5pm at work and busy
so had no time to take good pictures, inspect them in details or post more info. I will definitely be switching straps and I also have a third strap identical to the one I am wearing on the mini but
it's sand/tan. So more switcharoos and pics to come!:)
Steve did a great job with the mods! I'm very impressed with his skills!!
And thankful he sold them to me!;)

Brice, just my opinion again...I think the black croc on the milk dial will be superb. Also, if you go vintage distressed like a Serie 74 or vintage Wilson baseball glove leather, you'd be a killer on the loose, amigo.thumbsup.gifPM sent.

Brice...I meant that as the most positive of comments amigoThumbsUp02.gif...these are really spectacular, custom homage pieces that you won't have to worry about seeing anywhere else, but in the mirror.

Steve did a great job on these...and you did well in picking up not just one, but both of these unique beauties!!!

Nicely done!!!  Enjoy!!!

Thanks Chris, I knew you meant it in a positive way!;)

I am super happy with them, can't wait to play with the straps!

At least one of them is coming with me to FLorida for our vaca in Palm Coast next week.

Cheers, brice

I like this a lot. Where did you get it from? I tried to search for it but didn't manage to track it.
