I just read that zoo keeper and animal naturalist, Jack Hanna, narrowly escaped a charging grizzly yesterday. This SMP originally belonged to him so I wear it today in his honor.

Bullseye, Neo! Good memory. I think it was Nick (Nabco) who posted that video and that egged me on. I recall a fireman's hose with all that pressure was also trained on the watch but still it worked. This is a perfect tool watch...touch, substantial, with attitude and light.

And it's a good substitute for a boat anchor should you find yourself needing one! dog smile.gif

I'm guessing that the SMP in titanium is amazingly light as a feather on the wrist, no?

thank you Buddy!
Indeed new arrival. Bought it Sat and arrived yesterday.
Dial and Ti case/bracelet darker than I expected. But the watch is well built and it came with all the goodies. Was bought from
an AD earlier this year. Still had red dot, all the cards, mint boxes, book... Good set. Just some blemishes on
Ti which is to be expected and unfortunately a scratch on bezel at 5 min maker but can oy see it at some angles. So great piece overall.
When I put it on yesterday I was very surprised about how light it is!!! I can't even feel it on the wrist. This morning I held my 2254 in one hand and this 2238 in the other... And wow!!! The 2254 is already fairly light but this one is like a feather compared to it. Seems impossible!
Now I really need a Great White to complete the collection!:) just missed on a 4th one:(

cheers. Brice

Very cool Brice...this sample looks great indeed!   I only own one titanium cased watch (and actually my only quartz watch...it's a Tissot T-Touch with the tactile sapphire crystal)...and agree with you, the titanium tends to have a much darker finish, but does vary depending on the finish used.

Thanks for the feedback regarding this one wearing light as a feather on the wrist...I expected that it would be almost unnoticeable on the wrist like you said.

Hey...if you end up completing that trifecta with the Great White, we may have to start referring to you as Omegaman!!!!dog smile.gif  You are on quite a roll there buddy!!!  Enjoy!!!

Thanks Chris. Yeah on a roll but also reducing my collection and moving anything I don't really love, give wrist time to or don't click with.
So my collection is now down to a focused 11 watches, well 12 with my Heart Monitor piece. So not bad overall:) I used to have 40+
