Yes, Trias did make some very good Swiss movement watches. The one I have pictured even came with the incabloc shock system and a metal movement holder. Even the case is high quality. All for $189 at the time.

However, the changes by the Swatch group have left companies like Trias out of the loop. They really don't offer anything these days that equals the models they sold with Swiss movements 3-4 years ago.

Thanks Trent!...we really do feel blessed to have all this so close and literally in our backyard...everytime we make it up, we realize how much we take it for granted and know we should get up there more often.   Grand Lake is a absolutely gorgeous place...and like you, one of our favorites along with the Trail Ridge Road drive (we know it very well).thumbsup.gif

btw...lovin' that Kobold Seal combo...Thumbsup3.gif...that is an extremely rare one as far as I can tell.

You sir are lucky guy with a backyard like that! I have for years tried to find a way to make a living out there but my business is here so i will just have to wait.
Thanks for the kind words about the Seal, I am told it is one of one in the Aventgrade Kobold line. It came packaged like a Panerai with three boxes and a ton of paperwork, some signed by Mike Kobold himself. I feel lucky to have landed it but i gave up a Doxa safe queen i had salted away.
