I agree Alan, this Ekra. is cool and the Anchar even look better BUT, sadly, I will pass for the Anchar: The Chinese version of this Seiko movement in it, is a deception for me...Added at the way-to-high price for what you get:http://www.russia2all.com/vostok-europe-russian-watch-watches/vostok-europe-anchar-mens-diver-watch-nh25a5105141.htmlno.gif

Yeah, I know that it has the same movement found in many Invicta's and the new price is a little higher than I expected (that site was the first time I actually saw a price), but when I said "trying to locate" one, I meant the bay, where I see alot of the other VE models going for 50% of the MSRP. I will happily pay $275 - $300 for the Anchar. It is just so cool...Drool_27.gif

Yeah, didn't see it on the Bay yet: It might come later on... In my opinion, V.E. should try to make better grade models: If they would have include a 6R15 inside, they would have justify them 500$.

Took Jeff's nudging and threw an isofrane "like" (timefactors retro) strap on the Squale.  I like this combo even more than on the economical waffle.

Squale 50 Atmos today...

Ok, I gotta take a deep breath...

WOW!!! I can't believe all the great watches today. Hulk, in my opinion, there is no nicer Orsa than a black dialed, silver bezeled Sea Angler. Excellent!! Watchdaddy, the lume on that Zixen is UNREAL!! And it isn't even a time lapse photo. Congrats!! Edgel, as my son would say, that Accutron is SICK!! That's the same as cool, dope, or awesome to us old guys. Very nice. Stew, that isofrane "like" strap really finishes off the Squale. I am AWED!! And last but certainly not least, Skip, OMG I want that Glycine Combat Sub!! I have two other color combo's, but that one is my favorite. And, IMHO, they are some of the easiest wearing watches in my collection. It is something about the way they hug the wrist. No?

Thank you to everyone that has commented on my new "lady". In the short time I have been on 3T, I have been fortunate to obtain my two favorite watches in my collection (my Dievas Flieger being the other. Thanks O.).
