Well, William, on my side, I can't feel so much for a brand like Panerai since I found out that they are just after "status" customers. They will forever be overpriced to avoid "punks" like us to wear them watch...
I will also never go for them "cheaper" ETA-mods models, for the price they want: Føck that

Joining Oscar with the Shark Diver today...and joining William with the same Heroic18 strap I think (William, hang in there buddy...no doubt the price tag on the in-house PAMs is in the stratosphere...heck, the price on a good condition preowned non-inhouse PAM is way up there too and I have no doubt that I would have MUCH apprehension if I was getting ready to spend that kind of $$ on a single timepiece!!!)...I have never spent $2K or above on any single piece, so maybe I'm at some crazy WIS psychological barrier...it wasn't that long ago that the psychological barrier was at $1.5K, and not much before that a barrier of $1K....oh my.gif

...I guess that's why they call this WIS thing a disease! subtlelaugh.gif

Bronze Shark Diver for me today...

Chris, I think I see some touches of gray on this watch that may justify a consideration of a GRAY stitchless strap. I'm sure the colors bronze and gray may play off each other on your wristthumbsup.gif

Thanks Jeff...yes, I had not even considered that but the text and seconds markers on the dial are a nice grey/silvery color and the hands and crown sort of play the grey/silvery look with their nicely blasted finish.

btw...your dark olive shoes and that PAM 88 are looking absolutely drool worthy today!!! thumbsup.gifwowzer.gif

Well...looks like it's an evening of switch-ups and a few new arrivals...I'm joining Trent with a new arrival too...Anonimo Hi-Dive.

(Definitely a break away from the "clean and uncluttered" designs that I love from Anonimo...I was a bit concerned that the dial design might be a bit too busy for me, but there is something about this one that I'm liking quite a bit so far in the flesh...).cool.gif

Thanks Brice! So far I like it! It is bigger and heavier then my 750 GMT but after taking with you I expected that. It's a keeper and the build is top notch! Will posted photos of his a few weeks ago and I put it on my hit list and this one popped up and I had paypal funds so...mini me.gif
