The case finish and color is bad a$$ indeed William! The dial is nice anc clean. The only con so far is the lug design and length which is really a matter of taste not a design or manufacturng issue. some like it, others don't. I really think it is a great watch overall, looks bada$$ as you said and I think the crown at 8 is anice touch differentiating it from other watches as well!

Congrats on the 'new' arrival Brice...looks great!thumbsup.gif

Now...please clarify something for me...either you have amnesia or I am delusional, but I could swear that you have owned the Vortex (and sold it???) many moons ago amigo!!!

...or maybe you are involved in some kind of weird, super-WIS lease program that allows you to wear a piece for a short time, and then exchange it for something else a few days later...subtlelaugh.gif bamby.gif

As you know, I really like the Vortex...please do enjoy it for as long as you can stand it!!!dog smile.gif

Looks a lot darker than mine, but might just be the lighting in your picture? Anyways, as you say, a great watch, and a lot of bang for the buck. Truly one of my absolute all time favorites in my collection:0) You should try it out on a distressed leather zulu ...But almost everything looks killer on the Vortex imho!

thankyou.gif it's a looked for sure and has great specsthumbsup.gif
I got lucky to find this one from a fellow WIS, Chris S, who is a great guy, it wasn't even posted... Pure luck excellent.gif
The case finish is the same as yours but the lighting and my bad cell pic make it look darker. I tried different straps on it last night and actually had it on one of Paul's OrbStrap for dinner out last night. I have fat spring bars on it which make strap changes a breezethumbsup.gif

That's cool Brice...very good to some of your past favorites falling back into the fold with your...eh hem...more 'focused' tastes.

...I'm assuming 'focused' and 'flipper' are mutually exclusive, but whatever you say amigo!!!  subtlelaugh.gifdog smile.gif

That is a beauty Brice...Love that awesome domed crystal which contributes perfectly to that great vintage look. thumbsup.gif

...I'm thinking you previously flipped the orange lume version of this one for this 'regular lume' version, right?

Congrats!

Sticking with the Bali Ha'i on a new Isofrane.  The blacks don't match too well so I'm thinking about switching the bezel back to the original SS.

Well this one time you are mistaken brotherdance.gif
I did have the orange version, and loved it but had to return it. Unfortunately Peter was out of them and gave me a refund(Peter was great btw, a gentleman for sure) so I had to wait and find one used.
