thankyou.gif this strap really works well with the Sumo especially as it did on the Spork(I had posted pics in a Spork thread). This is an amazing strap for 15$ at IWM
The Sumo is awesome. I'm actually looking at modding it with MM300 hands but JakeB informed me they owner up to 90$ and his supplier stopped stocking them!:( maybe MCWW has them?

He's a very bad influence!  Evil!!!  LOL  Nice Brice, same strap as the Spork?  I've been wanting a sumo for awhile.  I just have to obtain a better balance on my CC's.

681 amigo...That's the small second version of the 670: I have this movement in my square zenith model. Very thin in fact: Among the thinest automatic movements ever made if I recall right.
Very precise caliber

I'm quite liking this combo, and the rugged good looks of this particular swiss ammo...happy guy.gif

Jeff - lovin' that new Zenith of yours...super classic piece with undeniable quality and heritage.

William - that brown-on-brown strap you've got paired with your Dart today looks sweet and super comfy.

William, thanks again. Here is the history on this MOD, I purchased a Corvette branded watch from Skipdawg/John about 2 years ago with the intention of Modding it. Here it is in original form

I had contacted Duarte at NEWW to do the work, but he told me the dial would not workcrap.gif. I then contacted Oldecrow/Chris a forum member and he said he would look at it. Sent him all the parts and he to said the dial was just a little to big for the case. Chris then thought he could file it down to make it work...which obviously it did and this beauty was born.

The case and bezel are nothing new, Zinex uses it and so did Deep Blue. The engine is an ETA 2824. This watch is 300m WR. Double o ring caseback and crown. Chris massaged the movement a bit and it winds like butter and keeps time at -2/4 seconds a day.

There you have it.
