Hi Bryce......that's happened to me on more than one occasion...frustrates the crap out of me....I am sure all the 3T members feel your pain on this one....by the way..I just ordered an Irreantum Magellan Carbon Fiber....been eyeing it for a while..what are your thoughts on those??

Matt and Courtney are wonderful with incredible customer service....they even asked me if I wanted a high or low serial number....I mentioned "66" since its my birth year..and low and behold..."66" is on its way.

Love the Breitling on Nato today Brice...yes, my friend, it could be worse...hang in there and I hope that your new arrival finds its way to you pronto!!!!

Played a bit last night with the liver of sulfur gel...4 Bronze pieces (3 watches, 1 bezel)...gave all the pieces a brief brush and/or polish depending on the finish prior to starting, same solution mix, same solution temperature...the Nimo was the only one that reacted within seconds maybe 30 seconds max to what you see here.  The other pieces saw between 10 minutes and 1.5 hours in solution with barely any change at all!  And all are supposed to be the same UNI5275 Bronze.

hmmmm, homerthinks.gif ...one thing for sure, patina games don't seem to have any hard and fast rules and every piece seems to react differently.

Nimo 10 Anni Polluce for me today...

Chris, if they react so differently to your treatment, they can't be the same alloy...Your Anonimo has a heavier corrosion reaction apparently: You well know that it uses the UNI 5275 and for exemple the bronze Helson Shark-diver uses the CuSn8.
I will not extend to a long discussion about alloys´s properties in this topic but you understand that those cases would react differently.
You may haver been misleaded about the other watches and them bronze alloy...

That BLOWS Brice & I feel your pain, I'm dealing w/ the same issue w/ my mailman, I'm expecting some money to be delivered from a sale today & my daughter has been home all day, I called her from wrk & "no 1 has knocked Dad" so I tell her to open the front door "theres a slip on the door" she tells me,

He did'nt bother knocking as USUAL & I wrk past & b4 the hours of operation, so once again I will have to wait until next thursday (my only day off) to go stand in line for un-necessary reasons.

What aggrivates me the most is he is accustomed to bringing packages to my home but refuses to get his lazy ass out of the truck & knock, instead he just leaves the green card @ the door for pickup @ PO.....  If he has to get out & leave the card why does'nt he knock F*$#'N DB is what I call him..Theirs got to be a easier way to deal w/ this package delivery system.
