Thanks Trent for the well wishes about my knee surgery! The good news is that I am able to put full weight on my knee already, won't be running any marathons yet...

Hope you all have a great saturday! I am sticking to my Ha'i C on the cool orange isofrane for a beautiful sunny Sunday and probably some time at the pool with friends and family! Perfect and fun combo for a sunny day, pool or beachpeace.gif

Sorry for the late reply, we were out of town yesterday for a neice's 5th birthday party and got home late.

I used crushed one tiny liver of sulfur rock into a damp waschcloth then rubbed it all over the watch. Neutralized with baking soda, gently buffed with a rouge cloth.
IMO the bright gold-tone of the raw bronze didn't let the dial really shine; I think the contrast is much better now.
Oh yeah, the strap is from a 1945 Swiss ammunition pouch. I do have enough to make a few more, but the coloration varies.
