This new - to me - MoVas Pro Diver! Like: The rounded square case with its considerable height; the PloProf-like crown lock; the hex screws; the elegant case-back design; the Panerai-esque linear power reserve; the multi-layered sandwich dial; the MoVas logo at 12; the brave attempt to make a watch, openly and proudly, with Asian (not just Chinese) parts. Dislike: The fact that the paint has come off the "50"; that the date is so deeply recessed it is very difficult to see; despite the nice design, the 24 hr arrow only tracks the hour; it does not appear to have date quick-set. Conclusion: The watch cost me 300 bucks plus shipping. For that price, I cannot fault it (and I was aware of some of its shortcomings before I bought it). Bearing in mind the above, I would not pay the asking price for new of 650 bucks. However, I understand that MoVas are changing some things around - Oscar knows all about it - and, if these issues are rectified, then it may be worth it. Thanks for watching / reading.
