My wrist is a smallish/average 7.25", and I would not want to go any shorter than this strap. Wish they had it available in longer sizes.

It will go to 7.5", but only because the holes are placed all the way toward the tip of the strap (I still have two hole positions left to the end of the strap, but even that only leaves enough tail to tuck under the first keeper).
