Going with the new arrival Zixen.
(It was dark when I picked it up, and dark when I left this morning...so forgive the table lamp lighting). Looking forward to taking better pics of this unique one in better lighting.

Thanks very much Phil & William!!! Yes indeed, my first Zixen and also my first internal bezel watch strangely enough!!!
First impressions are very favorable. Watch is extremely well built. It is a big watch for sure, but I knew it would be (The case design with hooded lugs extending to the lug length, and the internal bezel especially...since the massive sapphire crystal now extends all the way out to the bevel edge makes the watch wear big).
I put it straight onto a 24mm Isofrane when it arrived last night, and the watch is very comfortable on the wrist in this configuration! (With my wrist size at 7.25", I kind of think I would like it even more if I could scale this one down by approximately 5%, but I still like it alot).
Another real positive...this is a Unique Design (Seems like there are ALOT of derivative designs out there right now from a number of different micros, which has honestly had me saying, "Meh, sort of boring don't you think".) This one is not like that, and offers something different and unique. Like you've said before Phil...a "modern vintage" vibe to this one, and I like it! Very cool!

Looking good Chris and congrats. I found the more I wore it the more I liked it. Looks really classy on the wrist. I always find myself looking at it. I also agree about a lot of the micros and spitting out the same sub look and thus is different. Now I've got $700 more to spend and wth do I buy?

Sounds great Chris!
Glad you like it.
Absolutely right Chris.
Most micro brands came out with a lot of sub designs or something like that.
From time to time it's sometimes boring.

Nice to see a unique design for sure (It seems like the last half of 2015 and the start of 2016 in particular have A TON of micros coming on the scene with derivative, "seen that before" designs, and you are kind of saying to yourself, where are these guys coming from and what do they stand for?...has made my eyes glaze over a bit to tell you the truth). Refreshing to see something like this from Zixen, and I'm also looking forward to the Raven Defender (which is another internal bezel, two crown design). At least with those brands, you know the build quality is going to be spot on.
Hmmm...$700 more to spend, and what to spend it on? That is a certainly a great question!
