Unfortunately, not Chris.
I got the chance to buy this watch for a good price. The watch is new (full set) with full garanty.
So I couldn't resist.
Love the absolutely toolish design of the U1.
Really really comfi on my wrist.

Excellent Oscar! The Paul Picot brand is one that I've heard of, but I'm honestly not very familiar with the details of their offerings.
Your additional comments had me looking these up for extra images out there, and I agree, wave dial looks outstanding and fit/finish looks great too. That built-like-a-tank definitely comes out in your photo...awesome chrono for sure!!!

That's awesome Phil! Great to hear you were able to find this new, full set U1 at a great price!!! (and the fully tegimented model to boot!)
I must say, you've had a spectacular start to the new year already my friend!!!
So the U1 is a bit thinner overall in case thickness compared to the U2??? Is that the main difference other than the obvious 3-hander versus gmt design? Looking at side by side pics out there, they really do look fairly different (enough to have BOTH!!! Yes?).

Yes, a good start, a bit too good I think
Yes, the U2 is a bit thicker then the U1.
U1 = 14.3mm
U2 = 15,5mm
The U2 is thicker to do justice the water resistance of 2000 meter. While the U1 has only 1000 meter water resistance.
The U2 has a slightly domed sapphire crystal. And the U1 has a flat sapphire crystal.
Moreover, the case back of the U2 is slightly thicker compared to the U1.
Case and bezel are exactly the same parts.

Thanks for the detailed stats between the two Phil!
Different enough for sure...great that the case and bezel are the same, so you can swap your sdr bezel between the two.

Very underrated brand. It's 46mm but the lug to lug is perfect length. Lays flat, bracelet not big and chunky. It's well done and the friction pins have collars in the middle not out on the edge like the new turtles, not big deal. Pins push out either direction. Fit finish excellent and the dial is great with green sec hand. That's what pushed me to the LE version. Got it at ashford for a great deal $817, I think it went back up but other versions are still lower priced. LE version comes with rubber strap, extra set of spring bars and a tool. I will defiantly buy another edox and ashford is a great seller. Guys who own it say it's better than doxa. Fit finishe just as good but not as chunky. For me it's a keeper. The locking section doesn't interfere with wrist, don't even know it's there.....
