Thanks Phil! dog smile.gif

Right back at you...these CDs are great (in all gens), and I also really like your second gen with the blue accents. Also like what they did to improve (increase) the indents on the bezel for better grip when in-use. thumbsup.gif

Yes, the bezel is really grippy. A good improvement.

Indeed, the Miyota 8215...a budget, but very reliable engine.

Yours is powered by the ETA2824, correct?

Correct, ETA2824.Mine is of the first run of the 2nd gen CD.
Meanwhile the CD is equipped with an SWISS MADE STP1-11 movement.

I didn't realize that they had switched to the STP1-11 movement for subsequent runs of the 2nd gen CD.

My Zodiac SuperSeaWolf 68 is powered by a cosc version of the STP1-11, and it's been very reliable in my experience.

Keith releases batches from time to time with a few CD II.
The last batches were equipped with the STP1 movement.
I own two watches with the STP1 movement, no problems. A good one. Feels like a ETA2824.
