Went to the car show in Greenwich CT with my son this AM before in got too hot here in the northern suburbs of NYC.. A freak show of cars! Yesterday was domestic, today was foreign (I did manage to slip in a photo of a 1954 Chrysler T&C that was being auctioned.) I have attached a few pics and will try to add some more later.

Very cool. The BMW M1 is a car I've never seen in person. Makes me heart a flutter....hearteyes.gif

Hey guys - that 3.0 CSL gets me going as much as the M1, but I would want original seats please. And what is that light blue Pininfarina with shark eyes in the middle of the Lancias? Never seen one of those before!

Looks like it was a beautiful day to amble amongst the cars on show.

Oh - and I have one spare kidney that is under-utilized and would happily exchange it for the Mercedes Gullwing... :)

Cheers and thanks for sharing!

The light blue car with the shark eyes is a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Pininfarina Rondine. It sold at Barrett-Jackson Auction for $1.76 million earlier this year. It is a very distinctive car!

I agree about the seats on the CSL...

Gees, grr - I can pick 'em

Thanks for letting me know. It seems that if it shows at B-J it sells for a considerable sum. I have only seen one televised B-J auction, - it was for the first Shelby GT500KR.  It was black. It was beautiful. There was a lot of testosterone in the room. It sold for a squillion, too.

The Pinin-vette must be a one off - it is absolutely beautiful.

Cheers for Fathers Day to all.
